About Us

The Institute for Publishing, Research, and Community Service (LPPPM) is a university unit responsible for managing and coordinating research activities, scientific publications, and community service conducted by lecturers and students.

In general, its functions include:

  1. Research – facilitating, managing, and developing research activities for lecturers and researchers.
  2. Publishing – managing scientific journals, textbooks, proceedings, and other academic publications.
  3. Community Service – coordinating the application of science and technology to assist and empower the community.

In many universities, this institution is also known as LPPM (Institute for Research and Community Service), although some campuses officially include the publishing function within its structure.

The Institute for Publishing, Research, and Community Service has the following primary duties:

    • Monitoring and evaluating activities

    • Evaluating lecturer performance in the fields of research and community service

    • Establishing cooperation with domestic and foreign institutions
